What we do

A tree farm first — with the extras to finish the job.

Growing trees is our business. To help customers get their new trees off to a good start, we also keep a small selection of landscape supplies and a small in-house crew for planting.

Our main focus

Farm-grown native trees

Cedar, spruce, pine, maples, serviceberry and native shrubs — a short list of proven species, grown on our farm or hand-picked from trusted Ontario growers.

Planting & install

Let our team deliver and plant the trees you buy from us — properly sited, at the right depth, mulched and watered in — plus small bed and garden installs.

How it works
Why native

Trees that belong here.

Native trees evolved with our winters, our clay and sandy loams, and the birds, bees and butterflies of the St. Lawrence lowlands. Once established they need less fuss, handle our climate, and give back to local wildlife for generations.

  • Hardy through Eastern Ontario winters
  • Food and shelter for native pollinators and birds
  • Great for shade, windbreaks, privacy and naturalizing
  • No invasive species — ever
Find the right tree

Grown to a higher standard

Every tree that leaves the farm has to meet our standard:

  • Strong central leader and well-spaced branches
  • Healthy, compact root systems that transplant well
  • Fresh, vigorous stock in spring and fall, not left sitting for months
  • Inspected by hand for pests, damage and vigour before it goes home with you
  • Honest advice on what will grow well where you want it
Getting your trees

Simple from field to yard.

  1. Tell us your project

Shade tree, windbreak, privacy row or a single specimen? Send us a note or call.

  2. Visit or choose remotely

Book a time to walk the rows, or we'll recommend trees and send photos.

  3. Pickup or delivery

Load up at the farm, or we deliver locally across SD&G.

  4. Plant it right

Do it yourself with our care sheet — or have our crew plant it for you.

Good neighbours

A working farm, run the right way.

We're proud to be part of the rural community in South Stormont. Our land is used first and foremost to grow trees, and our small supply and planting side exists to serve the people who buy them.

How we operate
  • Tree production is the principal use of the farm
  • Landscape supply kept small-scale, tidy and secondary to the farm
  • We do not accept fill, excess soil or waste materials
  • Daytime business hours only, visits by appointment
  • Committed to following all township and provincial rules
